"The figure of the Paper Ballerina is freely inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's tale The Steadfast Tin Soldier  and tries to explore the universe of dreams, through the use of paper, revealing the delicacy of the female being. In a second moment, the folding of the archives brings the references of origami, and the representation they have of life transformation. The dancer then begins to collect the dreams of the audience and thus begins, the "fulfillment of hopes", as if she (along with her costume) could become both a collector of dreams and an incubator, making the process of transmitting and receiving hope grow. People who made their dreams come true have the power of transformation much greater than they imagine.

 

 

***The costume is made from paper files in three different sizes and sewn onto a painted faux leather. The headdress is made of cut and painted tire rubber strips and fabric flowers." "A figura da Bailarina de Papel é livremente inspirada no conto Soldadinho de Chumbo de  Hans Christian Andersen e tenta explorar o universo dos sonhos, através do uso do papel, revelando a delicadeza do ser feminino. Em um segundo momento, as dobraduras dos arquivos trazem as referências dos origamis, e a representação que estes possuem de transformação da vida. A Bailarina então, começa a coletar os sonhos do público e inicia-se assim, o "preenchimento de esperanças", como se ela (junto ao seu figurino) pudesse se transformar tanto em uma colecionadora de sonhos, como em uma incubadora, fazendo crescer o  processo de transmitir e receber esperança.As pessoas que realizaram seus sonhos têm o poder de transformação muito maior do que eles próprios imaginam.

 

***O figuirno é feito de arquivos de papel em três tamanhos diferentes e costurados em um couro sintético pintado. O adereço da cabeça é feito tiras de borracha de pneu, cortadas e pintadas e flores de tecido."
